Cozies made from vintage tablecloths!
A tradition among serious
tea drinkers -- cover
the pot and keep your tea warm.
We search for old
"cutters," usually with holes or stains that are beyond repair and no
longer fit for use on a table and then take the best parts and make them into
cozies. It's our way of paying homage to the original embroidery or woven
designs.
Made by hand by Arlington
fiber artist Jan MacLaury, in two styles -- one with a quilted backing (totally washable),
and the other with a removable lining
attached with velcro (to allow you to wash the INSIDE and protect the dry
cleanable outside). They're decorated with tassels and beads from the
